There's no substitute for safety, especially when you're transporting children. Each time you reserve a Budget rental car, be sure to request a safety seat for each child travelling with you.
To reserve a child safety seat, simply select the appropriate size during the online reservation process, or speak to our call centre agents.
It is required by UK law that any child under 12 years old or under 135cm in height (approx 4ft 5ins) must use an appropriate child restraint - Please ask your Budget representative to help make sure the correct child seat is fitted.

How can I book a safety seat?
A safety seat can be reserved by selecting the child safety seat option during the 'Add Extras' step of the online booking journey. We cannot guarantee a safety seat unless one is reserved. You will also be asked at the rental station upon pick up whether you wish to hire a child safety seat (if available).
Other methods of booking a safety seat are via our call centre, by calling 0808 284 4444. You can also add a child seat to an existing reservation.
How much does a safety seat cost?
UK safety seat prices are from £10 per day with a 7 day maximum charge. Prices will vary from country to country.
Prices quoted are for rentals collected from "Standard" locations. Rentals from "Premium" locations will be higher. Please check the prices during the booking process.
Where are Budget safety seats available?
Safety Seats are available for hire at all Budget stations across the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
